Praise and Prayers for 2010

Since the last posting of prayer requests (November 2007 to Spring 2008) God has been at work.

We would like to share with you how.

1. Miro Jurik’s health and clarity about a new position. Miro has recovered well from his heart attack (November 2007) and is currently working out of his home in the area of financial investment. We are thankful for his help in administrating CityGate Slovakia going into stasis.

2. Antonio, our Romanian colleague, qualified to teach English in 2008 and has been teaching in businesses in Bratislava. He is settled in Slovakia and enjoys his work.

3. Alona, who worked part time for us in Russia, was married to an English gentleman in October 2009. We are thankful for this marriage and the opportunity to maintain the relationship.

4. In 2008 we moved the hub of CityGate to England. L’Abri Fellowship has graciously given us facilities from which to work. It has been a great encouragement to partner together with them. As well as continuing our work in Central Europe, Marsh has been able to lecture and mentor here at the “Manor” and Sarah is helping with the L’Abri bookings.

5. We are thankful for a home for Marsh and Tuula within walking distance of L’Abri. They moved in during the summer of 2008. During the summer of 2009 there was extensive renovation and now they are settled in their place on Snailing Lane.

6. Sarah moved to England in the autumn of 2008. In the spring of 2010, she found a place to make home, for which we are most thankful. It was good to be able to move her things from Slovakia to England in June of this year.

7. Please pray for the sale of Sarah’s flat in Bratislava.

8. The move has been stressful on many levels for Moyle’s and Sarah. We are thankful for the prayers of so many during this time of transition, change and settling.

9. During the last two years, we’ve continued our work in Ukraine and Russia. Among the events, Marsh has been able to teach at the IFES Eurasia training in Ukraine, held several weekends with Ben Robinson and LOZA group as well participate in seminars with the Christian Democratic Party of Ukraine on thinking through the theology of political involvement.

10. We’ve also participated in the European Leadership Forum in Hungary during the last two years, which has given many contacts for other events and work.

11. Please be in prayer with us for the upcoming Gospel in Society Conference in Ukraine next spring, April 2011. We have been in the planning process this spring and look forward to how God will work through the process as well as the event.

12. Being in England has provided opportunities to teach and lecture locally. Pray for wisdom as we think through the plans for the coming year.
